Circus Artist & Street Theater

Walter Almada

Born in Argentina and now based in Belgium, Walter discovered the circus in 2003 at the Rosario Circus School, where he fell in love with movement, juggling, and acrobatics. What began as curiosity soon became a lifelong passion — a way to connect people through emotion, rhythm, and laughter.

In 2005, driven by the desire to explore and learn, he set off on a journey across Latin America, meeting artists, performing, and growing within a vibrant community of circus dreamers.

Two years later, Belgium became his creative home. At L’Espace Catastrophe in Brussels, he refined his art, studying clowning with Micheline Vandepoel, mime with Patrick Gautron, and acting with Vesna Puric and Vincent Leclerc. There, he found his voice — silent yet expressive, humorous yet poetic.

Between 2008 and 2009, Walter collaborated with the company Che Cirque, performing in festivals across Europe and beyond. At the same time, he began sharing his passion through juggling and unicycle workshops at European circus conventions.

In 2009, he founded his own company: El Loko CirKea. His first solo show, El Péndulo, a wordless street performance blending juggling, unicycle, and physical comedy, took him on tour across Europe and back to Argentina, where it all began.

Today, Walter continues to perform his solo acts while touring his interactive roaming show, Cirkeando por los Aires — a joyful encounter between clowning, improvisation, and audience play. Each performance is an invitation to dream, laugh, and reconnect with the simple joy of being human.
